The Art Deco era of the 1920's to the 1940's was an era of decadence and style resulting in some fabulous jewellery being made that is as fashionable and easy to wear today as when they were made all those years ago, and here is a delightful Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring.
All hand made in 18ct white gold and platinum in France in the 1920's, the ring is set with a marquise cut blue sapphire that measures 0.80 carats.ÂÂ
The sapphire has such a fine royal blue and looks magnificent set into the platinum.ÂÂ
Surrounding the sapphire are six European cut diamonds that total 0.24 carats and six larger semi-modern cut diamonds that total 0.60 carats.ÂÂ
All the diamonds are G in colour and VS in clarity meaning they are all lovely and white and clean diamonds that sparkle beautifully day or night.
From left to right the ring measures 9.1mm across by 17.9mm in length and sits so beautiful on any finger including making a wonderful Art Deco engagement ring.
This sapphire and diamond ring has so much elegance and class associated with the wonderful Art Deco era that is destined to be loved and admired every single time that it is worn.
