Early Australian antique pearl necklace by Duggin, Shappere & Co
$2,350.00
This necklace sits perfectly around the neck and is still so elegant and beautiful even well after 100 years have passed since it was made and will be the perfect necklace for to wear for that special occasion.
Made by the early Australian jewellery company Duggin, Shappere & Co at the start of the 20th Century, the necklace was made in 15 cart gold and looks so elegant with the three main drop coming down from the centre.
The design alone is so charming and feminine, and the addition of the seed pearls adds that extra element of charm and character to an already very beautiful design.
Laid out from end to end, the necklace measures 39cm, and the main drop in the centre measures 5.7cm from the bottom to the top.
This is such a lovely example of early Australian jewellery, and one that will always be admired each and every time that it is worn.
