Entirely hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum in the early 1920's, this is a diamond cluster ring with a difference.
Measuring 15.3mm wide by 21.4mm in length, this ring makes such a wonderful statement on the finger and really accentuates the hand so elegantly.
Set with a central semi-modern cut diamond which was created just before today's round brilliant cut diamond, in the ring are a further 16 lovely old European cut diamonds to add to the pizazz.
The old European cut diamonds still have 58 facets like today's round brilliant cut diamond but as they were cut by hand have different angles to them.
The 17 diamonds total 1.63 carats and makes this ring sparkle magnificently day or night.
The use of platinum started to be used during this time and has the ability to be drawn into a fine wire while all the time retaining its strength.
