Jewellery of the Art Deco period of the 1920's to the 1940's has remained so popular over the years, thanks in part to the incredible designs as well as the high quality of hand making that went into each piece, both of which can be seen here in this amazing sapphire and diamond bracelet from the Art Deco period.
Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, in the centre is a lovely oval cabochon cut sapphire that measures 0.90 carats and reflects the most beautiful blue colour, which is then highlighted on each side by two fancy square cut sapphires and an amazing half moon shaped cut sapphire. The precision in the cutting of these stones as well as the setting, is a testament to the quality of Art Deco jewellery and why it has survived so well after all these years. These additional sapphires come together to total 1.02 carats, all of which is then highlighted further by the four single cut diamonds on each side. Adding an elegant sparkle to the bracelet, these diamonds total 0.22 carats and from end to end the bracelet measures 17.5cm in length and is fitted with a safety clasp for added security.
And finally the jewellery who created this magnificent piece, went one step further by hand engraving the most beautiful design on the sides which shows how much thought and care went into making this wonderful bracelet.
No matter the occasion or the time of day, these is no doubt that this bracelet will always be loved and admired for its beauty and elegance.
