Here is such a charming vintage smoky quartz ring that has the most gorgeous bow designs on each side that adds to the charm and character of the ring even further.
Made in Birmingham in 1970 in 9 carat rose gold, the rose gold is the perfect colour of gold to highlight the smoky-brown of the quartz. Measuring 3.90 carats, the oval cut stone captures the light so beautifully, and measuring 18.6mm all the way across, this ring sits so well on the finger.
Vintage rings of this era are becoming so popular and sought after, and this ring certainly shows why.

What is vintage jewellery?
Vintage jewellery is anything that is over twenty years old, but less than one hundred. Once jewellery is over 100 years old, it is then classified as an antique.
What is smoky quartz?
Like the name implies, smoky quartz is from the quartz family, that is a smoky-brown colour. This family also includes citrine (yellow) and the most famous, amethyst (purple). Smoky quartz should never be called smoky topaz, as topaz is another gemmological family of gemstones.
