Antique turquoise and pearl ring made in 1870’s Victorian era
The combination of turquoise and pearl goes so well together, and in this antique ring this combination is highlighted further by the beautiful detail from all sides of the ring.
Made in 15 carat gold in the 1870's, even the setting around the pearls and turquoise is so much nicer and highly detailed compared to what is seen today, as not only is there a bezel setting around the stones, but the setting has an elegant crimping along the edge as well as small triangular claws to give them additional support and security.
Then the detail that is around the stones as well as how it leads down the band is beautiful as is the incredible work that can be seen from both sides.
Measuring 6.1mm wide at the centre by 16.1mm across, this is such an attractive ring that will always look so good on the finger.

Antique pearl locket ring made in the Victorian era of the 1870’s
There is something so special about wearing a ring on your finger that is over 150 years old that still looks and feels so beautiful on the finger where it will no doubt always be admired.
This ring was made in the 1870's in 15 carat gold, and the colour of the gold has such a lovely soft tone to it that looks even more beautiful with the border of pearls surrounding the locket compartment at the top. Traditionally used to hold a lock of hair, under the rock crystal at the top of the ring, it is plain underneath and will always make this aspect of the ring such a wonderful conversation starter.
Measuring 8.1mm wide by 18mm across, even the band has not been forgotten as it too is also set with three natural pearls on each side and has the most wonderful hand carving down each side that shows just how much attention and care went into hand making this ring all those years ago.
From every angle, this is such a charming example of an antique ring that is as unique as it is beautiful.
