Garnets are most commonly found in a deep, rich burgundy-red colour, however they also come in a range of colours and hues such as the beautiful Almandine garnets seen here in this ring.
Made in the Victorian era in 15 carat gold in Birmingham in 1869, the colour of the garnets are so beautiful and are perfectly complimented by the seed pearls.
However it isn't just the pearls and garnets that are beautiful, as the setting and hand engraved band is absolutely exquisite and made all the more amazing that this ring was made well over 140 years ago without any modern tools or equipment.
Measuring 9.5mm wide at the centre, this is is one ring that will take your breath away from every angle that you look at it.
