14ct gold Waltham pocket watch made in 1918 in exceptional condition

Here is a 14ct gold Waltham pocket watch made in 1918 in exceptional condition with an equally beautiful movement inside.

Too often the term "mint condition" is used when describing a piece of jewellery or pocket watch for example, however it can aptly be used for this pocket watch.

The engine turned design on both the front and back are still so crisp and sharp and show how little this pocket watch was actually used and handled. Often this engine turned design gets worn down as does the hinges on the case, whereas the front cover opens easily when the bow is pressed down, and stops at 90 degrees to the dial. Measuring 50mm across by 70mm from the bottom to the top of the bow, the heft and feel of this pocket watch in the palm of your hand will feel just right. Made in 14ct solid gold as opposed to rolled gold adds to the charm and character of an already very handsome antique pocket watch.

With the dial itself in equally excellent condition, it is as pure white in colour today as when it was made 199 years ago. With the numerals and sub-seconds at the bottom, this is a very easy to read dial.

Inside is the beautiful 15 jewelled manual wind Waltham movement that has been completely serviced and comes with our twelve month warranty.

If you have been after a perfect pocket watch for yourself or for a gift, then this antique Waltham pocket watch might just be the one that ticks all the boxes.
