Most sapphires and rubies are heat treated to improve the colour and clarity - a very normal and common practice, however this is 100% natural and has never been treated.
The blue that it displays is just magical, and the size displays all the factes and beauty that only a large Ceylonese sapphire can.
Set with 38 diamonds totalling an impressive 4.06 carats, this ring certainly has a high degree of sparkle.
Hand made with such precision in 14ct gold and topped in silver typical of the work during the 1800's, this is a ring for someone who can truly appreciate fine antique jewellery, and will wear it with such immense pleasure.
