Exquisite Art Deco diamond pendant
$14,200.00
What a magnificent diamond pendant that exemplifies the beauty and elegance of the Art Deco period when this was made.
Exquisitely hand made in platinum and dating from the 1920’s, this breathtaking pendant is sure to be admired and loved each and every time that it is worn.
Platinum has the distinct advantage over gold in that it can be drawn into a fine wire and still retain the strength to hold securely the diamonds, as well as being the purest of all the precious metals used in jewellery.
Along with the fine work, all the diamonds have a millgrain finish which can be seen as the elegant crimping along the setting which adds even more charm to an already astonishing pendant.
Sitting in the centre is a 0.37 carat European cut diamond that is surrounded in the inner section by thirty rose cut diamonds. With eight early brilliant cut diamonds on the border that total 0.32 carats, there are a further forty eight rose cut diamonds as well as three more rose cut diamonds on the bail, and all of these rose cut diamonds total 0.43 carats making this pendant destined to sparkle and be admired from near or far.
Measuring 30mm across by 45mm to the top of the bail for a chain to pass through, this is a truly magnificent example of the fine quality of jewellery that was produced in the gorgeous Art Deco era.
