Art Nouveau ruby and diamond French earrings.

The Art Nouveau period was from the late 1800's until the start of World War One in 1914 and is easily defined as having a very feminine and flowing design with features and style inspired by nature.

This can be seen in these lovely Art Nouveau earrings that were made in France and dates from the late 1800's.

With a gorgeous flowing design the rose gold looks absolutely fabulous day or night which is all the more highlighted with the diamonds and rubies.  In each earring there are three rubies and one diamond and the total weight of the diamonds weighs 0.06 carats and the rubies 0.06 carats as well.

Each earring measures 12.7mm across by 15.7mm or 19.2mm to the very top of the hooks. The hooks themselves are fitted with the lever back fittings which are very secure and comfortable to put on and off.

Art Nouveau jewellery is so attractive and it is wonderful to think that these earrings are from the late 19th Century and still looks amazing.
