Gold and platinum Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring

$0.00

Art Deco rings always have that special unique character about them such as in this sapphire and diamond cluster ring from the Art Deco period yet unlike the more traditional cluster rings.

Hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum in the 1930’s, the ring is set with a 0.30 carat natural blue sapphire and surrounded by 12 European cut diamonds that totals 0.36 carats.

However it is the way the diamonds have been set which makes this Art Deco ring so beautiful.
Each diamond is set into its own setting set away from the sapphire giving a flower-like appearance to the ring.
Then the diamonds are milgrain set which is the crimping along the edge of the setting which was typical of many Art Deco rings.

On the side, the band splits into three and holds aloft the setting giving this ring even more of a jewellers interpretation of a flower and making it even more unique and special.
The diameter of the ring is 12.2mm across and looks so elegant on its own day or night.

This is a very unique example of an Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring that will always be loved and cherished.
