Cartier Pasha GMT 2377

$5,450.00

Cartier are synonymous with unique, stylish designs in their jewellery as well as watches, and here is a Cartier Pasha that certainly embodies this.

This is the Cartier Pasha GMT reference 2377 with the GMT function with such a great looking dial and bezel.

Made in stainless steel, the case measures 36mm across plus the ingenious and fabulous crown and crown guard taking it to 41mm across, which along with the wide smooth finished bezel with the 24 hour indicators for the second time zone, gives the watch a much larger appearance on the wrist.

The dial has all the elegance expected of Cartier with the combination on numerals and index markers, date window and GMT hand for another time zone to be read off the outer bezel, giving this watch such a great look that will be perfect for day or night.

The stainless steel band is just as stylish and feels so comfortable on the wrist and inside the beautiful automatic movement has been serviced by our in-house watchmakers who can also service your Cartier, along with other watches, and this one comes with our two year warranty.

Perfect for any occasion, there is no doubt that this is an incredibly elegant and stylish watch.

What is the Cartier Pasha?

A brief history on the Cartier Pasha:

The Cartier Pasha was named after the Sultan, or Pasha, of Marrakech. He commissioned Louis Cartier to create both a a luxurious watch that he could wear for his royal duties, but also a durable watch that could then be worn in the swimming pool. The Cartier Pasha was designed with its ingenious screw down crown cap attached to a small chain. It is therefore regarded as Cartier's first waterproof watch.

In 1943 it was released in the boutiques as one of their standard collections, and this was a design that went through both periods of popularity as well as being less desirable over the years. Redesigned in 1985 by the famous Gerald Genta who also designed Patek Philippe's Nautilus as well as Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, he re-created it to develop the feminine Miss Pasha series.

The Pasha is easily identifiable for not only having the screw cap on the side protecting the crown. And the dial having a rather unique design in which the round case and dial is offset by a square minute track.

Where can I have my Cartier watch serviced in Sydney?

When we expanded and renovated our store in late 2022, we put in a full watchmaking and polishing workshop. With two watchmakers onsite, our head watchmaker used to work for Tag Heuer and then Rolex for nearly seven years. This allows us to be able to service your Cartier watch as well as other watch brands such as Rolex, Omega and Patek Philippe to name a few. As well as watches, we can also service your antique pocket watch.
