Here is a breathtaking ring that is set with a magnificent natural aquamarine, highlighted by diamonds, and set into a hand made setting made by our Master Jeweller in a design that is just perfect to showcase the aquamarine, diamonds and what our jeweller can make.
Hand made entirely in platinum, the aquamarine measures a very impressive 23.78 carats, and not only that, it has such a beautiful depth of colour as well as being perfectly even in its colour throughout the stone. This aquamarine is incredible to admire, as the magnificent cut and colour of the stone really makes this ring something very unique and special, and also comes with a Gem Studies Laboratory certificate of the aquamarine.
Then set on each side in a very elegant step design, are two rows of single cut diamonds with each side having five diamonds leading to the second level with four more, all of which add to a total diamond weight of 0.67 carats. When designing this ring, we purposefully went for single cut diamonds, as this is the same cut that would have been used in the Art Deco period of the 1920's, which is the influence for this ring.
Measuring 23.6mm across by 20.8mm, this is truly a spectacular ring that will not only be admired and noticed from near or far, but is sure to make any woman feel like royalty with this on her finger.

What are single cut diamonds?
These are small diamonds usually around 0.01 carats to 0.05 carats in size. They are often found on the shoulders of rings or surrounding a centre stone for example. While today modern technology will allow for a 0.01 carat diamond to have 58 facets and be a round brilliant cut diamond, single cut diamonds were used from the later part of the 19th Century up until around the 1930's-1940's. Commonly found with eight facets on the top (the crown) and eight facets on the bottom (the pavilion) these are sometimes found with total facets between 16 to 18.
