Where can I service my Rolex watch?

Kalmar Antiques now employ a Rolex trained watchmaker on site!

When we expanded and renovated our store in late 2022, we put in not only a full watchmaking and polishing workshop, but a watchmaker who used to work for Rolex for nearly seven years. This allows us to be able to service your Rolex to Rolex standards, as well as other watch brands such as Omega, Cartier and Patek Philippe to name a few.

Should I polish my Rolex watch when I have it serviced?

In recent years the trend has been not to polish a watch. Having said this, if the polishing is done correctly, then it can be an accepted practice. The only way that a Rolex watch can be polished correctly, is not just with a polishing wheel, but a lapping wheel. This will allow not only the correct finish to the watch case, but also a finish identical to how it was when it left the Rolex factory when it was made.

Where can I service my Omega watch? Omega watch service Sydney?

When we expanded and renovated our store in late 2022, we put in not only a full watchmaking and polishing workshop, but two watchmakers. Kalmar Antiques are now an authorised OMEGA watch service centre. Our head watchmaker, Lorenzo Del Rosso, used to used to work for Tag Heuer, LVMH and then Rolex, before coming to Kalmar Antiques. We also now an authorised OMEGA watch service centre. This allows us to be able to service your Omega watch to full Omega specifications all on-site.
