Rose and yellow gold antique collar made in the 1880's

There are few pieces of jewellery more elegant than a collar, and here is a magnificent antique collar that looks and sits perfect around the neck and has such a graceful look to it that will always be admired.

Made in the Victorian era in the 1880's, this antique collar was made in 9 carat rose and yellow gold and has the distinct advantage of easily being able to be worn showing either side.

With one side displaying the rose gold sections with a somewhat segmented design and the other side completely plain, the collar is fitted with a large bolt ring at one end which can be worn at the front as a feature or at the the back, can have something hanging off it such as a locket or seal, or its extension piece to either add length, or to hang from with a piece of jewellery at the bottom such as a locket as shown in one of the additional images. (Locket is available to purchase separately and is not included in the sale of this collar.)

From end to end the collar measures 43.5cm and the extension piece with its own bolt ring to attach something to measures an additional 4.1cm.

This is such a versatile antique collar that can truly be worn so many different ways and no matter which way you choose to wear it, there is no doubt that it will always be loved and admired.
