Rose gold Albert/fob chain made in 1924

Here is a very lovely Albert/ fob watch chain that
was made in rose gold that looks so good against the skin.

Originally these were used to connect to a pocket watch with the tee bar used through the waistcoat and the pocket watch attached to one end and are called fob chains or Albert chains as Prince Albert used his to wear his pocket
watch on one of these styles of chains, however when men started to wear wrist watches, these chains were then left behind and are now more commonly worn by woman around the neck.

This particular Albert chain was made in Birmingham in 1924 and is made
of solid 9ct rose gold links with the most elegant and beautiful links in between.
From end to end, the chain measures 39cm in length and is so easy to wear all the time day or night.

Each link is individually stamped and the rose gold is so attractive and has become so popular and sought after in recent years.

This Albert chain is in perfect condition and will always be admired and commented on.
