Silver antique photo locket highlighted with rose gold

Made in the late 1800’s, this antique double sided sterling silver photo locket is not only still in superb condition, but has the most wonderful hand engraving on the front as well as being highlighted with rose gold.

Measuring 3.4cm across by 6.2cm from the bottom to the top of the bail, the front is so beautifully hand engraved as well as highlighted with those three sheafs of wheat in rose gold. Historically farming and agriculture has been so important to people the world over, that many times during the history of jewellery, this was embraced into it as can be seen here on this locket.

Complimented by the border in rose gold, inside this locket can hold two images that once placed inside will make this locket even more personal and special.

This locket will look perfect on a silver chain or a lovely thick Victorian era collar, and no matter what you choose to wear it on, there is no doubt that it will always be admired and adored.
