Antique opal pendant and brooch

What a fabulous piece of early 20th Century jewellery that is not only set with an incredible amount of opals, but has the option to be worn as either a pendant or a brooch.

Hand made in 15 carat gold, the design of the star burst is a traditional Victorian and Edward design, however this one takes it a level higher by having the crescent designs as well. This truly striking piece will no doubt be noticed and admired from near or far, and at the top is the bail to allow a chain to pass through to wear this as a pendant, and then it can be removed to wear this as a brooch, making this such a versatile piece of jewellery to suit any occasion.

With 61 solid opals in the pendant and 3 more in the bail, the pendant measures 3.8cm across by 4.7cm from the bottom to the top of the bail, and has such an incredible striking design.

This truly magnificent piece will no doubt always stand out no matter how you choose to wear it.
