Art Deco jewellery of the 1920's to the 1940's often embraced wonderful geometric lines and shapes as can be seen here in this truly spectacular Art Deco diamond ring that was made in the 1920's.
Hand made in 14 carat yellow gold and platinum, to begin with the top of the ring measures and impressive 29.3mm by 12.3mm that truly accentuates the finger. Paint your nails in a strong red colour, put this ring on, and just watch the attention that it will most certainly get.
Running down the centre of the ring are three European cut diamonds that total 2.27 carats that sparkle magnificently. The proportion of the larger diamond in the centre with the small ones at each end, combined with the length of the ring is just perfect. And then keeping with the fabulous geometric shape of all of those smaller triangular sections, there are a further eighteen European cut diamonds that and four smaller rose cut diamonds. All of these diamonds come together to total 0.36 carats and add to the sparkle of the ring.
The intricate and exquisite detail in this ring showcases the quality of work that can be achieved both by hand and the master jewellers all those years ago.
No matter where or when this ring will be worn, there is little doubt that it will always be admired and commented on.
