Made in the early 1900's in 18 carat yellow gold, this piece is so typical of the Edwardian era in which it was made, and is set with a peridot which Prince Albert considered as his lucky stone, making it very popular in jewellery of the time.

Antique peridot and pearl pendant from the Edwardian era
Prince Edward considered the peridot as his lucky stone making it very popular and often seen in jewellery of the early 1900's when this pendant was made.
Hand made in 15 carat gold at the start of the 20th century, the pendant is set with a pear cut peridot that measures 2.35 carats and is suspended so beautifully, and sways so elegantly.
Then there are the four pearls set on each corner of the pendant that is connected by not one but two rows, however looking closer you will note that they are each set into their own very charming star pattern as well. It is this small attention to detail that adds so much charm and character to an antique piece such as this one here.
Measuring 31.3mm across by 38.9mm to the top of the bail, this is the perfect size and design to wear day or night as well as for any occasion.
