18 carat gold antique coral drop earrings made in the 1880’s
Dating from the 1880’s, these antique coral earrings are the right length and colour to be easily worn to any occasion or function and always look perfect.
Made in 18 carat yellow gold, each earring is set with four pieces of natural coral in the main drop, and one in the top. With all the coral having a perfect colour to them that is complimented perfectly by the yellow gold, all of this is further highlighted with the design of each having a lovely ball design around the edge.
Measuring 7.8mm wide by 36.6mm to the top of the long and secure shepherd hook, these earrings will certainly always look the part.

These antique coral earrings are set with naturally coloured coral. Today it is common to dye coral to a darker orange colour, or get white sponge coral and dye that also to a red-orange colour.
