Traditionally a pocket watch with a cover is called a hunter pocket watch or hunting case, and when you get one with a small inner circle allowing to view the time whle the case is still closed, it is termed a half-hunter or demi-hunter, and this is exactly what we have here - a superb full sized gents 18ct half-hunter pocket watch made at the start of the 1900's.
This superb case measures an impressive 46mm across, and has the most wonderful monogram of "GA" on the back of the case.
Made by Robertand Co, the 15 jewelled manual wind pin set movement runs perfect and keeps excellent time.
The white enamel dial has the traditional style of Roman numerals with 5 minute markers over each. There is a fine hairline crack running from the 8 o'clock to 10 o'clock position, however it is not too severe and the case of this pocket watch really makes up for this.
This is one full sized gents pocket watch that really stands out from most others.
