The elegant and timeless design of this pendant is so typical of the Art Deco period in which it was made, and day or night this will certainly always be admired and complimented on.
Hand made in 15 carat gold and platinum in the 1920's, sitting proudly in the centre is a gorgeous natural aquamarine that is a lovely antique oval cushion cut that has the most beautiful blue and measures 2.50 carats in weight. The colour of this aquamarine is just so perfect and captures the light so well.
Set into an elegant lozenge shape, it is complimented by four single cut diamonds that total 0.24 carats, and four natural pearls. With an additional rose cut diamond set onto the bail, the pendant measures 22.8mm across by 36.6mm to the very top and will perfect with a summer dress just as much as for that formal occasion.

1920's Aquamarine and diamond pendant
1920's Aquamarine and diamond pendant hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum during the Art Deco era.
Broadly speaking the Art Deco era was from 1920 until 1940. There will be some people and publications that may state that it started after World War I in 1918, and lasted until 1950, but as there was no reigning monarch to dictate an actual start-finish time such as the Victorian era, the general concusses is from the 1920's through to the 1940's.
