Antique buckle ring from 1914

The buckle design often represented an unbreakable bond between two people, and here is a fantastic antique buckle ring that looks amazing on the finger, thanks to the hand engraving, width and condition.

Made in 18 carat gold in1914, the ring measures 11.7mm wide at the buckle section to 8mm at the back and has the most wonderful hand engraving of ivies. The ivy design often represented ever lasting love, friendship or marriage, making this ring even more special. Combined with the quality that shows just how wonderful hand engraving is compared to machine engraving, and with the fact that this was all done over 100 years ago, then you have a ring that has so much sentiment attached to it, as it does beauty.

This is a wonderful example of an antique buckle ring that will never show or have a dated look on the finger making it perfect to wear alongside modern or antique jewellery.
