This bangle is absolutely gorgeous and will no doubt always be admired every time that it is worn as well as surprise many when they discover it is over 100 years old, yet still looks as beautiful and fashionable today as when it was made.
Made in the early 1900's in 18 carat yellow gold, the bangle is of course designed with a pearl set horseshoe that looks so elegant, and typical of precise work created by the jewellers of this bygone era, the pearls in the horseshoe section actually graduate in size with the smaller ones at each end and elegantly getting larger towards the centre.
Set with more seed pearls on each side, the horseshoe section itself measures 19.4mm across by 18.5mm and being hinged will allow this bangle to sit nice and snug on the wrist so it doesn't roll around the wrist.
Fitted with a safety chain for added security, this is a wonderful example of a piece of Edwardian era jewellery perfect for high society.
