Antique locket made in 1880

This antique locket was made well over 140 years ago, and is still as beautiful today as when it was made and once photos are placed inside, it will become a much loved and treasured piece of jewellery.

Made in Chester in 1880 in sterling silver, the locket has a wonderful scene on the front of a sheaf of wheat that is actually highlighted in rose gold, and then there is the most charming butterfly that adds such a wonderful element to this locket and will become such a fantastic talking point.

Measuring 3.8cm wide by 4.6cm, or 6.3cm to the top of a bail for a chain to pass through, inside it has its two bezels to place a photo under, and day or night, worn on a fine silver chain or a Victorian collar, this piece will always look so perfect and always be admired.
