The term Tutti frutti comes from the Italian word meaning “all fruits” and is a description used to describe jewellery that are often set with a multitude of colourful gemstones in a fabulous design such as can be seen here in this wonderful Art Deco tutti frutti brooch.

Hand made entirely in platinum in France, not only is the brooch set with facetted diamonds and gemstones, but it also incorporates amazing sapphires and rubies that have been hand carved to represent leaves.

In total there are a total of 65 diamonds comprising of single cut diamonds, early brilliant cut diamonds and a rose cut diamond that come together to total 1.05 carats. Combine this with 10 carre cut rubies as well as the hand carved ones and the magical golden sapphire in the centre as well as the carved blue sapphires, this comes together to showcase 0.68 carats of rubies and 1.18 carats of sapphires.

The sparkle that emanates from this brooch is dazzling and will certainly catch the eye from near or far, however it isn’t just the gemstones that makes this brooch stand out, it is the very elegant design of the brooch that showcases the quality of jewellery that was produced all those years ago.

Measuring 30.6mm across by 26.1mm, this is one of the most elegant and charming Art Deco brooches around.
