Art Deco sapphire and diamond cluster ring from the 1920’s

It is the small attention to detail in many rings from the Art Deco period that separate them from modern rings, and in this ring from the Art Deco period, it is not just the design, but the six smaller diamonds that are set between the fourteen others that makes it so unique and special.

Hand made in 18 carat white gold and platinum in the 1920’s, in the centre sits a European cut diamond that measures 0.20 carats. Then surrounding the diamond are six natural sapphires that total 0.72 carats and really stand out so well against the pure white of the platinum and white gold. With a further fourteen more European cut diamonds around the edge, there are six smaller rose cut diamonds that total 0.06 carats set between the sapphires and the outer border of diamonds.

The top of the ring measures 15mm in diameter, and with such an attractive design, there is no doubt that this ring will always be loved and admired.
