Art Nouveau jewellery of the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s often has a sensual style and design that is so elegant such as can be seen here in this Art Nouveau pearl and diamond ring made in France in the late 1800’s.
Beautifully designed and made in 18 carat rose and yellow gold, the flowing design looks amazing on the finger and is highlighted with three natural pearls and two rose cut diamonds that total 0.04 carats. The pearls add that lovely soft colour and the diamonds of course the sparkle. With the ring mainly made in rose gold which has that lovely warm tone to it, on the edge it is highlighted with yellow gold.
Measuring 10.2mm wide at the centre, this is a beautiful and elegant showpiece of Art Nouveau jewellery of the late 19th century.

Art Nouveau era pearl and diamond ring made in France
Art Nouveau rings and other forms of jewellery from this era, often took their inspiration from nature and emulated nature and flowing lines. Often asymmetrical in design, Art Nouveau jewellery lasted a relatively short time in the history of jewellery making, and was from around 1890 to the start of World War One in 1914. Sometimes using enamel or scantily clad women in a sensual pose in the designs, Art Nouveau jewellery and designs are like no other in history.
