Blue dial Rolex Air-King 14000
$9,100.00
The Rolex Air-King was first released in 1945 to honour the British Royal Air Force (RAF) after World War II. Designed with pilots in mind, the Air-King has a very clean and easy to read dial, with the absence of a date window, and in recent years has become a much loved and sought after model.
This Rolex-Air King has the most beautiful blue dial that is accentuated by the combination of index markers and 3, 6 and 9 with the Rolex coronet at the 12 o’clock position. This case measures 34mm across plus the Rolex screw down Oyster crown, and the dial looks incredible day or night and combined with the sleek smooth bezel and the Rolex Oyster band, makes it the perfect watch to wear day or night.
The case back still retains its original sticker showing how little it has been worn in its life, and is of course in superb condition.
Inside the watch it is powered by the 27 jewelled automatic Rolex calibre 3135 that has been serviced by our in-house watchmaker, who himself used to work for Rolex, and comes with our twenty four month warranty. Not only are we able to service our Rolex watches along with the other brands that we sell, but we can also service your Rolex or any other Swiss watch or pocket watch that you may have, all done in store, as well as being an authorised OMEGA watch service centre. All of our watch repair work is carried out on-site which allows us to keep control of it without having to send a watch interstate or overseas.
The condition of this watch is as good as you could ever hope for, and with the stunning blue dial, this is one Rolex that will always be admired.

What is the Air-King? A brief history on the Rolex Air-King.
For many years, the Rolex Air-King was a “forgotten” watch by Rolex and overlooked by many watch collectors. However in recent years, the Rolex Air-King has had a resurgence in popularity.
An ironically, the Rolex Air-King was not the only “Air” model made by Rolex. There was is Air-Tiger, Air-Lion and Air-Giant, however the Rolex Air-King is the only model that has lasted until today in production.
Released in 1945 as the Rolex Air-King reference 4925, it was made to honour the British Royal Air Force (RAF) after World War II. Designed with pilots in mind, the “Air series” of watches all had very clean and easy to read dials, with the absence of a date window.
