This brooch is amazing. Made in the form of a bumblebee, its wings are made of plique-a-jour enamel, the most difficult enamelling technique. It enables light to pass through the wings, instead of having a solid backing on which the enamel is fired onto.
The brooch is set with citrines on its wings, and pave set with brilliant cut diamonds to give that extra sparkle at night As you can see, there is also a wonderful flawless natural South Sea pearl measuring an impressive 13.2mm x 15.5mm.
It measures 7.5cm across, and this is a wonderful brooch in its form, use of colours and gemstones.
