A brief history on Universal Geneve:
Universal Geneve was founded in 1894 by Numa Descombes and Ulysse Perret. Originally founded in LeLocle Switzerland, the company relocated to Geneve in April 1918.
In 1927, Universal Geneve released the Cabriolet model, considered to be the first reversible watch with an impressive 8-day power reserve.
In 1934 they showcased their company to the world at their first Basel World exhibition. At Basel, they presented the first ever chronograph with two pushers.
We can! When we expanded and renovated our store in late 2022, we put in not only a full watchmaking and polishing workshop, but a watchmaker who used to work for LVMH and Rolex. This allows us to be able to service your watch, such as Rolex, Omega, Cartier and Patek Philippe to name a few.
How often should I service my watch?
We recommend to service your mechanical watch every five years.
