Sapphire and diamond Art Deco ring

Art Deco jewellery of the 1920’s to the 1940’s created a whole new style of jewellery and fashion, and today Art Deco rings are just as popular and sought after as when they were made all those years ago, and here is a wonderful example of an Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring that is perfect for any occasion and finger including making a very special Art Deco engagement ring.

Perfect in all respects, it was all hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum in the mid-1920’s and is a wonderful geometric rectangle shape that looks divine on the finger. The top of the ring measures 19.2mm by 9.5mm wide and is set with twenty eight round early brilliant cut diamonds that total 0.84 carats, and then there are actually four single cut diamonds that total 0.02 carats that surround the sapphire in the centre which measures 0.30 carats and stands out so well set against the diamonds.

Typical to the beauty and detail of rings of the Art Deco era, there are three more single cut diamonds on each side to add to the sparkle and elegance of this Art Deco ring, and add an additional 0.03 carats to the diamond weight.
