This is a very elegant aquamarine and diamond ring that was made in London in 1987 yet has been wonderfully made in the style of Art Deco jewellery of the 1920's.
Made in 18ct yellow and white gold, the ring is set with three aquamarines and 2 diamonds.
A typical style in the 1920's was to milgrain set the stones and has been used here in this ring as well.
Milgrain setting is the fine and elegant crimping along the edge of the stones which adds that extra special charm and character to the ring.
The three aquamarines has such a glorious blue colour and are matched perfectly as well. They total 0.90 carats and the diamonds 0.08 carats.
From left to right the ring measures 15.3mm across by 7mm wide at the centre aquamarine.
This aquamarine and diamond ring looks so elegant on any finger and made in the wonderful Art Deco style makes it even more special.
