The Edwardian era refers to the reign of British King Edward VII from 1901 to 1915. Edwardian jewellery evokes femininity with the use of flowing designs and floral motifs. The King’s favourite gemstone was peridot and therefore this gemstone was widely used in jewellery design throughout this period along with pearls, diamonds and aquamarines.
