Antique diamond engagement ring in an incredible setting

Here is an amazing antique diamond ring that is not only set with the much sought after mine cut diamonds, but sitting proudly in the centre sits the earlier cut and much rarer Mazarin cut diamond, in a design that is absolutely breathtaking.

Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold in the Victorian period of the 1870's, the work and detail in the ring alone is astonishing to admire from every angle, and this incredible work is made even more impressive when this was made over 150 years ago without any of the modern technology that we have today.

The Mazarin cut diamond measures 0.26 carats, and was one of the earliest forms of truly facetted diamonds. Adding to the charm and character of the ring are the six mine cut diamonds surrounding it that total 0.48 carats, and together with the centre diamond add a wonderful sparkle to an incredible ring.

Measuring 12.6mm across by 10.8mm, this ring not only sits so well on the finger, but is amazing to admire from any angle.
