Antique garnet buckle ring made in 1877
$3,250.00
The buckle design was a popular motif in jewellery from the Georgian and Victorian eras, and here is a truly fabulous antique buckle ring that is set with three garnets.
Made in 18 carat yellow gold in London in 1877, the ring has the most incredible stippled effect and the buckle itself has been exquisitely hand engraved with both of these features adding such an incredible appeal to the ring.
And to highlight the ring even further, there are three very vibrant Rhodolite garnets set into the ring. Whereas garnets ore often found in a beautiful deep rich burgundy-red colour, garnets come in a range of colours and hues such as the Rhodolite garnets which have a beautiful purple overtone to them.
These garnets, combined with the rich colour of the gold and the design itself, certainly make this ring look amazing and it will certainly be complimented each and every time that it is worn.
Measuring 9.3mm wide at the buckle section and 5.8mm at the back, this is a wonderful ring for any woman of any age.
