Antique illusion bangle set with pearls and made in 15 carat gold

Not only was this bangle made over 100 years ago and still in fantastic condition, and not only was it made in the harder to find 15 carat gold, but it is also a very exciting illusion bangle that will remain such a wonderful talking point and conversation starter.

Although it is difficult to see from the images as a camera only has one lens compared to our two eyes, the bangle measures 11.6mm wide at the top and tapers down to 6.8mm wide at the back, however when the bangle is rotated around and viewed, thanks to the optical illusion created by the design, the bangle appears to get wider and thinner as it turns around.

Not only is this bangle so elegant, it is also a wonderful example that shows that not all antique jewellery was staid and monotonous, and combined with the colour of the gold which has such a beautiful tone to it that will look even better against the skin, then this is certainly a bangle that will be perfect for any occasion.

This is a wonderful as well as fun example of antique jewellery that will always bring a smile to the faces of all who see it.
