Large antique spinner made in Birmingham in 1892
Spinners or swivels as they are also known as, were originally made to be attached to a gents Albert chain, however today it is women who mostly wear them as a pendant where they have the advantage to be able to easily rotated over to change the side and therefore the colour of the material, and here is a very beautiful large swivel that was made in Birmingham in 1892 in 9 carat rose gold.
Designed with a solid curb link design over the top, on one side is a bloodstone and the other carnelian which is able to be easily rotated depending which side you would like to be shown.
Measuring 32.7mm across by 40mm plus the additional links on the top for a chain, this spinner is perfect for any Albert chain or necklace.

Antique sterling silver carnelian and bloodstone spinner made in 1889
Originally spinners or swivels as they are also known as, were worn by men on the end of an Albert chain, however today they are more often worn by woman as a pendant where they have the distinct advantage of being able to be worn with either side showing as each is often set with two different colours such as in this one here.
Made in 1889 in sterling silver, on one side it is set with carnelian and the other bloodstone. Having two distinct colours will allow it to be so versatile depending on what you are wearing and measuring 24mm across makes it the perfect size to wear on a fine silver chain, or a lovely wide antique collar and always look perfect.

Antique triple spinner made in the late 19th Century
Swivels or spinners as they are also known as, were originally worn by men on the end of an Albert chain, but today these antique spinners are often worn by women as a pendant, and here is a wonderful and very unique triple sided antique spinner dating from the 1890's.
Made in 9 carat gold, the spinner is set with bloodstone, carnelian and white chalcedony which are all from the cryptocrystalline quartz family making them very durable and therefore even after all these years, they are all n wonderful condition.
Measuring 16.5mm across by 25.4mm to the top of the bail, no matter which side is showing there is no doubt that it will always be loved and admired.
