This is without a doubt one of the rarest model Omega watches around, with so many wonderful and amazing features.
Firstly, this is what is refered to as the lady’s jewellery Secret watch, as the dial is “hidden” under the hinged diamond set top. The top is set with 10 diamonds, and there are a further 3 on each side.
The most wonderful feature about this particular Omega watch, is the movement. There are other watches by both Omega and various other companies with the hinged top, but this is the only one with a rear set case – meaning that the crown in under the watch, rather than at the traditional 3 o’clock position. The manual wind Omega movement is the calibre 440.
The entire piece is made from 18ct white gold, and measures 16.5cm in length, and can be adjusted smaller via the clasp.
This is one vintage Omgea watch, that is not only a fine time piece but a piece of jewellery, and so very rare and unique.
