Antique Mizpah ring set with a double heart and a garnet

Here is a very sweet and beautiful antique Mizpah ring that was made in the early 1900's in 9 carat rose gold and is designed with two hearts, one of which is set with a garnet.

The term Mizpah comes from the Book of Genesis and translates as "The Lord watch between me and thee when we are absent one from another"

Measuring 5.9mm at the centre where the two hearts meet and 4mm at the back, the way the word Mizpah is split on each side of the heart actually accentuates the word so well and the addition of the two hearts makes this such a romantic ring that epitomises the true meaning behind the word Mizpah.

As sweet and charming today as when it was made over a century ago, there is little doubt that this ring will always be some a wonderful talking point.
