Antique natural coral ring made in the Edwardian era in 1907
Here is a gorgeous antique ring that is not only so beautiful due to the natural coral set into the ring, but the exquisite hand engraving as well.
Made in Birmingham in 1907 in 15 carat gold, the colour of the gold has such a beautiful soft yellow colour that pairs perfectly with the natural colour of the coral. Whereas much of the coral found in jewellery today is often dyed, this coral is completely natural in colour and looks perfect in its setting.
Not only is the surrounding bezel hand engraved, but the engraving carries down each the side of the band and is so beautiful to admire. There is nothing quite like the fine detail in hand engraving that simply cannot be found in machine engraving or simply stamping the design out.
The top section measures 9.7mm wide by 11.3mm and this ring will sit and look perfect on any finger.
