Antique aquamarine necklace by Aronson & Co

$2,650.00

Made by one of Australia’s most famous early jewellers, Aronson & Co in the early 1900’s, this necklace is as beautiful and elegant today as when it was made over a century ago, and will easily suit being worn during the day as well as the evening.

Made in 9 carat gold, the elegant design showcases the two natural aquamarines that both have the most beautiful blue colour that looks magnificent against the skin.

The two aquamarines total 4.50 carats, and with the one at the top being set into that lovely design, and the drop section supporting the pear cut aquamarine at the bottom. The drop section measures 6.6cm in length, and from end-to-end the necklace itself measures 42cm.

And not only is this such a beautiful necklace for all to admire, as well as being made by one of Australia’s most famous early jewellery companies, but this exact necklace is featured on page 35 of the “Australian Jewellers: Gold & Silversmiths, Makers & Marks,” by Kenneth Cavill, Graham Cocks, and Jack Grace.

Day or night, there is no doubt that this necklace will always be admired for its beauty and elegant charm.
